Hey, I hope this is getting to Sylvie. I am Jeff, my brother Mike sent you an email earlier. I just wanted you to know I am wonderfully interested in filling the morning slot next Sat. I have a full band that could play, or more what I’m picturing is a solo show, with some accordion, some loop pedal, I could fill an hour slot with some great tunes that would please the bikers. i have played most of the local bars The Sunset, The High Dive, Tost… etc. Let me know my email got through and I can send you some music. Would love to play.
Thanks,
JEff
Awesome! I will e-mail you. Thanks!
Sylvie,
I know that you are all madly painting signs at this very moment but if someone, not sure who, has a moment, I’d like to talk to you or the bands or whoever it is about a group of high school students filming this awesome event.
They have it in mind to create a promotional video that would help show high schoolers that bikes are more than toys and have all kinds of FUN and exciting uses besides the obvious. They would like to have permission from the bands involved to use the music and agree to be filmed. Are you all up for something like that?
Heck yeah! I will e-mail you and send a quick note out to the bands. Thanks!!!!
That is great! I will talk to the students. Looking forward to your e-mail. If any of the band members want to talk we can try to meet up or chat tomorrow or later tonight.
I just sent you a couple of e-mails.
Is there any way that Seattle Bicycle Music Festival and the bands can get copies of this film, too? I think that’s pretty fabulous!!!
That is my intent. I have expressed this with the video group and will be meeting with them tomorrow. Seattle Department of Transportation, our grant maker, will want to use it as well to show the good works they have funded. Everyone OK with that?
Sounds good to me!
Sylvie,
Not finding those e-mails.
I just sent ’em off. Sorry, I ran to Safeway for stuff to make chili for dinner tonight.
